Delete your Baaka account

Baaka is a mood journaling application operated by SIA "Fabizone". This page explains how to delete your Baaka account and everything stored in it.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in at run.baaka.app in any browser. Nothing needs to be installed.
2. Open Settings, and under Danger zone choose Delete account, then Continue.
3. We email a confirmation link to your sign-in address. Nothing is deleted yet — your account stays exactly as it is until you open that link.
4. Open the email and click the link. It expires after a short time. Your account and its content are erased when you click it.

The same option is available in Settings in the Baaka apps for iOS and Android.

If you can't sign in

If you have lost access to your email or to the account you sign in with, email info@baaka.app from the address on the account. We will verify the request and delete the account for you.

Before you delete

A subscription is sold and billed by the store you bought it through. If you subscribed through Google Play, we ask Google to stop the renewal when your account is deleted, and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. A subscription bought through the App Store cannot be cancelled by us: cancel it in your Apple account settings first, or Apple will keep billing you after your Baaka account is gone.

What is deleted

• Your account — your email address, and the link to your Google or Apple account if you signed in with one.
• Everything you wrote — your journal entries, your answers to prompts, the emotions you selected, and material derived from them.
• Your sessions — you are signed out on every device, and the sign-in tokens for them are destroyed.

This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore an account once it has been deleted.

What is kept, and for how long

• Your account and content are removed from our active systems as soon as the deletion is confirmed.
• Copies may persist for a limited period in routine backups and in diagnostic logs, before those cycle out.
• Content that was already sent to our artificial intelligence and speech-to-text providers may persist in those providers' systems for a limited period under their own retention arrangements, before cycling out.
• If you have subscribed to a paid plan, we keep a limited record of the subscription — its final status, and the steps we took to end it — for as long as we need it to resolve or defend billing and subscription disputes.
• We may retain information for longer where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
